Christian Formation

For Children

At St George's, our children learn that God loves them, they can love God, and that they can bring the love of God to others!  This happens in many ways:

     *  Christian formation for ages Pre-K through adults occurs on Sunday from 10:30 until 11:15 beginning Kickoff Sunday, September 17th. Classes for school-aged children are grouped by grade level. There are several adult offerings on Sunday and during the week. Weekday offerings are listed below.

     *  Joyful Journey is a program that serves Pre-School and Elementary age children. During part of the 9:00 service, children learn about the Gospel through child-friendly sermons, songs, and activities.

     *  Nursery care is provided during the 9:00 service for children from birth through age 5.

     *  For older youth, our Middle School and High School Youth Groups offer a variety of interesting, fun, and meaningful trips and activities that encourage both fellowship and service. Middle School Youth Group meetings on the first and third Fridays of the month. High School Youth Group meets the first and third Sunday evenings from 6-8.

As part of  Sunday School, St. George’s is pleased to offer First Communion instruction for students in Grade 2nd or above.  We will begin teaching the First Communion curriculum during Sunday School on Sunday, January 8th.
