At St George's, our children learn that God loves them, they can love God, and that they can bring the love of God to others! This happens in many ways:
* Our Sunday School program has 94 students enrolled from Pre-K through 12th Grade. Children leave for Sunday School after Communion and attend classes until 11:15. In addition to our regular curriculum, students have the opportunity to be involved in a variety of other events and programs that enhance their understanding of what it means to be a child of God.
* Joyful Journey is a program that serves Pre-School and Elementary age children. During part of the 9:30 service, children learn about the Gospel through child-friendly sermons, songs, and activities.
* Nursery care is provided during the 9:00 service for children from birth through age 5.
* For older youth, our Youth Group offers a variety of interesting, fun, and meaningful trips and activities that encourage both fellowship and service.
As part of Sunday School, St. George’s is pleased to offer First Communion instruction for students in Grade 2nd or above. Upon completion of the curriculum, the First Communion class will lead an Instructed Eucharist service on Sunday, May 15th at 9:30 am. We will begin teaching the First Communion curriculum during Sunday School on Sunday, January 10th.
