St. George’s is collecting used and new children's books (Pre-K through Grade 6) for the Capital City Rescue Mission (CCRM). Parents are able to pick out books for their children as they come to the Mission to register the children for the backpack giveaway party.

This will be the third year that the Capital City Rescue Mission has done a book giveaway. Last year, it was a great success. Let’s check our book collections for our children and grandchildren and pick out 4 or 5 to share. There is a big need for "chapter books". The books should be in good condition, no scribbling or torn pages.

There is a collection bin in the narthex of the church.

This is a great way to reach out in love.
